We are looking for an all-round caliber with 3+ years’ experience to assist in the IT function of the Operation Team –
Your primary role is to maintain network, system and data security for the firm.
Job responsibility
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of IT systems, networks, and information.
- Responding to emergency situations such as fire, flood, power failure, virus attack and any other BCP triggering incident.
- Act as the focal point for all IT incident detection, escalation and disaster recovery across teams.
- Assist in developing IT securities related policies, guidelines and strategies.
- Manage and conduct regular/ad-hoc maintenance activities, system patches, disaster recovery drills and crisis management drills to ensure planned preventive processes and procedures are effective and in full force.
- Researching new attack vectors and developing threat models
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver troubleshoot service, advisory and solutions regarding IT security.
- Support external and internal security audit and assist in forming IT risk assessment reports and provide remedial action plan.
- Advise management on the latest trends in cyber intelligence and best practices, through close collaboration with vendor and regulators.
- Daily scanning and testing on the system and network security and overall infrastructure, which may require providing 24x7 on call assistance/duty in responding to security incidents.
- Ad hoc IT support tasks
Requirements
- Degree Holder in Computer Science, IT Management or related disciplines, with minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in system/network/cyber-security preferably in the financial field.
- Familiar with Linux System, Microsoft Windows, cybersecurity technology such as Firewall management tools, WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, jump-server and hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning
- Strong knowledge in latest IT Security Solutions
- Proficiency in writing technical specifications is required.
- Familiar with financial industry standards and knowledge of local regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, problem analysis & solving skills
- Good team spirit and self-motivated
- Strong writing skill and trilingual in English/Cantonese/Mandarin speaking
